This aftermarket replacement recoil rod group (idler rod assembly) is a critical component of the front idler recoil system on Fits Caterpillar (Fits CAT) D6 series track-type tractors. The recoil rod works within the undercarriage recoil assembly to absorb shock loads transmitted through the front idler, protecting the undercarriage frame and track components from impact damage. Replaces OEM part number 2S6265 as well as cross-reference numbers 2260197 and 7M1855.
