One New Aftermarket Replacement Ignition Coil Resistor for Ford (New Holland) 2N, 8N, and 9N Tractors
This ignition coil resistor (ballast resistor) is a direct replacement for the original unit in the ignition system of Ford 2N, 8N, and 9N tractors. It regulates voltage to the ignition coil, protecting the coil from excess current during operation. Note: this is the resistor element only -- no mounting block included. Fits Ford 8N tractors prior to serial number 263843; fits all Ford 2N and 9N tractors (1939-1950).
