One New Aftermarket Replacement Track Adjuster and Recoil Spring Assembly for Hitachi and John Deere Excavators
This recoil spring and adjuster assembly (track tensioner) maintains proper track tension on the undercarriage of compatible Hitachi and John Deere crawler excavators. The complete assembly houses the recoil spring and hydraulic track adjuster cylinder, absorbing shock loads from the front idler and keeping the track chain at the correct tension to prevent premature wear or derailment. Overall length: 21-1/2 inches. Note: the John Deere 490E application requires serial number 020605 and above.
