This Mitsuba PMDD starter motor is a direct aftermarket replacement for Yamaha 650cc and 701cc 2-stroke personal watercraft. It mounts to the engine and engages the flywheel to crank the motor on startup. The unit uses a Mitsuba (Mitsuba) PMDD design with clockwise rotation and a 9-tooth spline pinion gear.
