This is a single groove blade spindle unit for a King Kutter finish mower, part number 502303. It is the complete spindle housing with the pulley, ready to bolt in and take a blade.

The blade bolts are left hand thread, which King Kutter's own manual confirms. The 7 foot RSFM-SS-84 uses spindle 502304 instead, not this one.
