This left hand torsion coil spring installs at the ramp hinge shaft to reduce the effort required to raise and lower heavy trailer ramps and gates. Designed for manual-deployment ramps on open style and landscaping trailers, it stores energy as the ramp lowers and releases that energy to assist lifting. Sold individually - left hand side only. Verify hand orientation before ordering: standing behind the trailer facing the ramp, the left hand spring is on your left.
