This sensor assembly mounts on the Denso HP0 high-pressure fuel injection pump and measures pump rotational speed (RPM) to provide precise timing data to the engine control system. It is a critical component of the fuel injection system on Komatsu equipment powered by 6D125E-3 and 6D140E-3 series diesel engines. A failed or inaccurate pump speed sensor can cause hard starting, rough running, or complete engine shutdown.
