-Replaces the original Fits Lucas Starter.
-This starter can be used on 6 volt or 12 volt systems.
-2 bolt nose cone
-The measurement from the inner bolt flange to the end of the nose cone is 2.728".
-The measurement from the outer bolt flange to end of nose cone is 3.274".
-9 tooth drive
-If the ring gear is toward the front of the engine when mounted on the flywheel, you have a Fits Lucas;order starterMFS069.
-If the ring gear is toward the rear of the flywheel, you have aDELCOwhich is NOT available at this time.
-The (main)reasons a starter nose will break:
-Bent armature shaft
-Ignition timing is incorrect
-Improper drive to ring gear clearance
-Defective distributor cap / wires causingthe engine to kick back
