This aftermarket hydraulic pump assembly is a direct replacement for the Caterpillar (Cat) 980 Wheel Loader hydraulic control system. The pump supplies pressurized fluid to the machine's hydraulic control circuit, powering lift, tilt, and auxiliary functions critical to loader operation. Note the serial number restriction below before ordering.
Serial Number Restriction
Important: This pump fits Caterpillar 980 Wheel Loaders effective with Serial No. 42H1425 and up. For units Serial No. 42H863 to 42H1424, refer to the earlier pump assembly (OEM 5J4959).
