This aftermarket trunnion bearing replaces OEM Fits Caterpillar part number 1J6744 and is used in the dozer blade trunnion assembly on Fits Caterpillar (Fits CAT) D8 series crawler dozers. The trunnion bearing supports the ball-and-socket pivot connection between the push arms and the blade C-frame, allowing the blade to angle and tilt under heavy load. Worn or failed trunnion bearings result in excessive play in the blade linkage and reduced blade control.
