311292 Fuel Shut-Off Valve for Ford Tractors
A manual fuel shut-off valve, often called a fuel tap, for the gravity-feed fuel system on Ford hundred-series and related tractors. It threads into the bottom outlet of the fuel tank and lets you turn the fuel supply on or off by hand, so you can stop flow before you change a fuel line, rebuild the carburetor or injection pump, or park the machine for storage. An O-ring is included to seal the valve to the tank.
Where It Mounts
The valve mounts at the outlet at the base of the fuel tank, and the fuel line runs from its outlet down to the carburetor or injection pump. It is sized for standard 1/4 inch fuel line. Seat the valve evenly against the included O-ring and snug it down without over-tightening so it seals cleanly, since these valves are most often replaced for weeping at the tank.

Ford four-cylinder tractors including 501, 540, 600, 601, 611, 620, 621, 630, 631, 640, 641, 650, 651, 660, 661, 671, 681, 700, 701, 740, 741, 761, 771, 800, 801, 811, 820, 821, 840, 841, 850, 851, 860, 861, 871, 881, 900, 901, 941, 950, 951, 960, 961, 971, 981, 2000 and 4000, plus 1801, 1811, 1821, 1841, 1871 and 1881 industrial and construction units. Gas 800 through 981 tractors fit at serial number 126524 and earlier. This valve does not fit the NAA/Golden Jubilee, 9N, 2N or 8N, which use a different glass-bowl shut-off assembly. Confirm your model and fuel-line size before ordering.
