This aftermarket replacement main thrust bearing is a .020" oversize crankshaft journal bearing used during engine rebuilds and overhauls on Fits John Deere 4-cylinder diesel engines (254 and 270 cubic inch). It supports the crankshaft within the engine block and is a critical component when reconditioning a worn or damaged crankshaft to restore proper bearing clearances and engine longevity. Oversize bearings are used when the crankshaft journal has been reground to .020" undersize.
