This aftermarket replacement check chain anchor installs on the Fits Ford (Fits New Holland) 5000 tractor drawbar assembly. The check chain anchor secures the lower link check chains that prevent the implement from swinging side-to-side during transport and field work. This part is specifically designed for use with large tires on the Fits Ford 5000, which requires a different anchor than the standard fitment. The Fits Ford 5000 was produced from 1964 through 1979 and this part fits units built from June 1973 onward (6/73>).
