One New Aftermarket Replacement Knife Guard Fits New Holland and Fits Case/Fits Case IH Combine Headers with Crary Cutting Systems
This knife guard (CR7228) is a center guard designed for combine grain and platform headers equipped with Crary cutting systems. The guard mounts on the header sickle bar and guides the sickle sections during cutting, reducing plug resistance and minimizing crop shelling and shatter loss at harvest. It is a center guard for Double Drive headers and is compatible with headers that do not use wear plates.

Fits New Holland: 970, 971, 972, 973, 71C, 73C, 74C, 1010, 1020 (with Crary cutting systems, Double Drive headers)
Fits Case / Fits Case IH: 820, 1010, 1020 (with Crary cutting systems, 1995 and prior; use on 1020 when NOT using wear plates)
Note: Verify that your header is equipped with a Crary cutting system before ordering. The 820 and 1020 fitment applies to Crary-equipped units only.
