This T-slat is a direct replacement for the feeder house conveyor chain on the Fits John Deere (Fits JD) 8820 combine. The feeder house chain slats are the transverse bars that engage harvested crop material and pull it up and rearward along the feeder house floor toward the separator. Worn, bent, or broken T-slats can reduce crop throughput and increase the risk of chain jumping -- replacing individual slats promptly helps protect the chain and extend its service life.
