Tank size, fold type and serial number, in that order
This auger is specified by the grain tank, not by the combine model. The 300 bushel power fold tank takes this auger at about 57 inches. The 400 bushel tank takes a different auger at about 66 inches, and that nine inch difference is the clean physical check if you still have the old one. The S670 is the machine that catches people out, because it was built with both tanks. A serial break also applies in the 785001 area on the S660 and S670, and a pressure flow compensated variant exists, so confirm by serial if your machine is near that number. On the models that do not fit: the hillside H and HM machines carry the smaller tank and do belong here, but the standard S680, S685 and S690 are 400 bushel machines, and the S650 and the 9000 STS combines use a different loading auger family altogether. Finally, this is the auger alone. The matching auger tube is a separate part costing considerably more, and this is not the folding unloading auger that fills a grain cart.
