One New Aftermarket Replacement Starter Fits John Deere (Fits JD) Lawn Tractors 316, 318, and 420

This 12-volt direct-drive (DD) starter replaces the original Fits Mitsubishi-type starter on Fits John Deere (Fits JD) lawn and garden tractors equipped with Onan B43E, B43G, and B48G engines. It mounts with two 8mm unthreaded ears and drives a 9-tooth counterclockwise-rotation pinion gear to crank the Onan twin-cylinder engine.
