This aftermarket replacement starter motor fits a wide range of Fits John Deere riding mowers and lawn tractors powered by the Fits Kawasaki FC290V 9HP engine. It is a PMDD-type, 12-volt starter with counter-clockwise (CCW) rotation, designed as a direct bolt-in replacement for the original Fits John Deere AM102628 starter. The original equipment manufacturer for this starter is Nippondenso (Fits Denso).

starter worked!!!

Always good to have a starter that works…..heck of a removal and install but it was not the starters fault….john deere design was the cause they designed the mower so that you had to remove the engine from the frame to remove and replace the starter……glad it worked with no problems with the new starter…….
