One New Aftermarket Replacement Hydraulic Steering Valve (Steering Motor) Fits John Deere Tractors
This aftermarket replacement hydraulic orbital steering valve (also referred to as a steering motor or steering control unit) is a direct replacement for the Sauer-Danfoss unit used in the hydrostatic steering system on Fits John Deere 40-Series tractors. It features SAE 3/4"-16 UNF port threads and a bolt-on valve block design. IMPORTANT: Fitment depends on serial number. This valve applies to tractors with the factory bolt-on valve block. Later-production models use a steering unit with built-in valving and metric 18mm O-ring ports -- verify your serial number before ordering. Fitment by serial number: 1640, 1840, 2040, 2040S all to S/N 429999; 2140, 3040, 3140 all to S/N 429999 and S/N 430000 and above with cab to S/N 558049 (SG2 Cab); 2940 all S/N up to 376553.
