This aftermarket replacement cylinder liner Fits John Deere diesel engines displacing 254, 270, 381, and 404 cubic inches. The liner seats in the engine block and forms the precision-honed bore surface for the piston, maintaining compression and controlling oil consumption. O-rings/sealing rings are sold separately (reference AR40155 for sealing ring kit). Serial number restrictions apply -- see Compatible Models below.
