This planetary pinion carrier is a key component of the MFWD (Mechanical Front Wheel Drive) front axle assembly on John Deere 4000 and 7000 Series tractors. The carrier houses the planetary pinion gears within the front axle hub reduction unit, transferring drive torque to the front wheels.
