This complete safety shield is a replacement PTO driveline guard designed to cover and protect the rotating PTO shaft between a tractor and an implement. PTO safety shields are a critical safety component -- they are engineered to remain stationary while the driveshaft spins beneath, stopping rotation if contacted by an operator or bystander. This shield replaces the A&I Products (A&I) part number A-DSK535C and is designed to fit Walterscheid-style PTO driveline shafts.
What Is a Complete PTO Safety Shield?
A complete shield assembly typically includes the outer tube shield, end cones, retaining chains, and support bearings. The bearings allow the shield to remain stationary around the spinning driveshaft.
