This aftermarket replacement fuel shut-off solenoid Fits Briggs and Stratton (B&S) small gasoline engines used in lawn and garden equipment. The fuel solenoid is mounted on the carburetor and controls fuel flow to the engine -- when the ignition switch is turned off, the solenoid cuts fuel to the carburetor, preventing dieseling and engine run-on.
