This driven hub and cup kit is a key component of the friction-drive transmission system on Snapper rear engine rider mowers. The driven disc hub connects to the friction ring and mounts on the drive shaft; when the hub or cup key slot wears out, the drive shaft spins freely inside the hub and the mower loses forward motion.
