This aftermarket replacement bail cable connects the operator bail lever to the engine throttle/stop control on 22-inch walk-behind lawn mowers. When the bail cable breaks or stretches, the engine cannot be started or kept running safely -- replacing it restores proper deadman control operation. Fits Briggs & Fits Stratton and Murray walk-behind mower decks using the 22-inch bail cable configuration.
