This aftermarket replacement Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR) is designed for use on select Fits Briggs and Stratton portable and standby generators. The AVR monitors and regulates generator output voltage, automatically adjusting alternator excitation to maintain stable, consistent power delivery as electrical loads change. A failed voltage regulator can cause under- or over-voltage conditions that damage connected equipment or prevent proper battery charging -- replacing it restores reliable generator output.
