This rewind/blower housing kit combines the recoil starter mechanism and blower housing into a single assembly Fits Briggs & Fits Stratton (B&S) small gasoline engines used in lawn and garden equipment. The recoil starter spins the engine crankshaft when the rope is pulled, while the blower housing channels air over the engine for cooling. Replace this assembly when the engine is hard to start, the starter rope fails to retract, or the rope jams or snaps. Compatible with 140cc and 150cc Fits Briggs & Fits Stratton engines commonly found in push lawn mowers from Troy-Bilt, Fits Craftsman, Fits Poulan, MTD, and related brands.
