One New Aftermarket Replacement Digital Crankcase Vacuum Tester Fits Briggs & Fits Stratton Small Engines
This digital crankcase vacuum tester is an essential diagnostic tool for small engine technicians. It measures crankcase vacuum on a running engine to identify internal engine problems including leaking valves, incorrect valve seating, defective oil caps, and crankcase seal leaks in any piston engine. It also measures natural gas and LP fuel pressure for home generators. Unlike standard vacuum gauges that read in inches of mercury (Hg), this digital tester reads in inches of water (H2O) -- the unit required for accurate crankcase vacuum diagnosis. A healthy engine should show a minimum of 4 in. H2O crankcase vacuum at top no-load speed. This tool is also a required instrument by Kohler for warranty work on their engines.
