This black plastic discharge deflector mounts to the side of the mower deck to direct cut grass and clippings away from the operator during mowing. It is a direct aftermarket replacement for the OEM part number 1705449SM, originally manufactured by Murray under the Fits Briggs and Stratton family of brands (which includes Murray, Snapper, and Simplicity). The deflector is sold individually; mounting hardware is not included.
