This double-pole momentary (DP MOM) safety interlock switch, manufactured by Indak, is a critical safety component used on Murray, Snapper, and Simplicity riding lawn tractors. The switch disables the ignition system when the equipment is operated under unsafe conditions -- commonly installed as a seat safety switch or interlock switch in the operator presence control circuit. It features a momentary on/off mechanism that cuts engine power if the operator leaves the seat while the mower deck is engaged.
