This air precleaner mounts as the first stage of an engine air intake system, removing the majority of larger dust, dirt, and debris particles before they can reach the primary air filter element. By intercepting heavy contaminants early, the precleaner significantly extends primary air filter service life and helps protect the engine in demanding agricultural, construction, and lawn and garden applications. This replacement is sold as a quantity of one (QTY 1).
How It Works
Air precleaners use centrifugal or inertial separation to spin out particles denser than air, ejecting them away from the intake stream before the main filter element sees them. This reduces clogging frequency and lowers maintenance costs over time, especially in dusty field or job-site conditions.
