This aftermarket replacement AAU8491 thermostart heater plug mounts in the intake manifold and provides reliable pre-heating for cold-weather diesel engine starting. It features a push-on spade terminal for electrical connection, a 7/8" UNF mounting thread, and an overall length of approximately 63 mm. The thermostart design ignites a small amount of diesel fuel to heat incoming air, ensuring quick and confident engine starts in cold conditions.
