One New Aftermarket Replacement 2-Prong Low Plate for Hesston, Case IH, and John Deere Swathers, Windrowers, and Mower Conditioners
This aftermarket replacement 2-prong low plate mounts to the sickle cutter bar on windrowers, swathers, and mower conditioners. Used with the 049270 guard assembly, the low plate secures the sickle knife sections and guides crop material into the cutting zone. Worn or damaged low plates allow knife sections to deflect, leading to uneven cuts and accelerated wear on surrounding sickle components. Replacing this sacrificial part restores proper sickle performance and extends the life of guards and knife sections.
