This 12-volt PMDD electric starter is a direct replacement for the Kohler air-cooled K-482, K-532, and K-582 engines, as well as the Fits John Deere 400 lawn tractor equipped with the Kohler 19.9HP engine. The starter features a counterclockwise (CCW) rotation with a 9-tooth drive gear and three threaded 5/16-18 mounting ears, making it a bolt-on replacement for worn or failed original starters on these classic Kohler K-series platforms.
