This distributor breaker plate assembly (complete with points) fits the front mount distributor on Fits Ford 9N, 2N, and 8N tractors. The breaker plate mounts inside the front-mount distributor and carries the contact points that trigger ignition timing on these classic Fits Ford N-series 4-cylinder engines. Designed to fit the original equipment front mount distributor and the 1100-5000 aftermarket distributor -- note that fitment with other aftermarket distributor housings may require minor modification due to slight variations in mounting screw placement on some supplier units.
Important Fitment Note: This part Fits Ford 8N tractors equipped with the front mount distributor only (serial number 263843 and earlier). Fits Ford 8N tractors with serial number 263844 and up use a side mount distributor and require a different breaker plate. The Fits Ford 9N and 2N use only the front mount distributor.
