One New Aftermarket Replacement Blade Brake Cable for MTD, Troy-Bilt, Cub Cadet and More Walk-Behind Mowers
This operator presence (blade control) cable connects the handle bail to the blade brake mechanism on walk-behind push mowers. When the bail is released, the cable disengages the blade, stopping rotation for safe operation. A worn, kinked, or broken cable will prevent the blade from engaging or disengaging correctly and must be replaced to restore safe mower function.
