353903R92 Ignition Condenser for Farmall and International Harvester
This is one new aftermarket ignition condenser that replaces International Harvester part number 353903R92. The condenser (a small capacitor) sits across the breaker points inside the distributor or magneto and absorbs the voltage spike each time the points open. That protects the points from arcing and pitting and gives the coil a clean, strong spark for easier starting and smoother running.
Fits Distributor and Magneto
This condenser fits the original IH battery-ignition distributor used on tractors built from 1951 through 1962, and it also fits the IH J4 magneto with serial number 81411 and up. On original horizontal-mount IH distributors there is a cast part number on the base. Confirm that number before ordering, because this condenser is designed for original IH units and will not fit many look-alike aftermarket replacement distributors.
