This aftermarket replacement hydraulic cylinder seal kit restores leak-free performance to the lift cylinder on Caterpillar (Cat) 980-series wheel loaders and R1600-series underground loaders. The kit services a 3-1/2 in. rod x 7-1/2 in. bore cylinder and includes all seals required for a complete reseal, including wiper, buffer, U-cup, and piston seals. Worn or damaged cylinder seals allow hydraulic fluid to leak and contaminants to enter the system -- replacing them with this kit restores full lifting power and protects the hydraulic circuit from further damage.
