This aftermarket replacement seal-scraper (also referenced as a scraper seal or wiper seal) is designed for hydraulic cylinder applications on Caterpillar wheel excavators and material handlers. A scraper seal mounts at the rod end of a hydraulic cylinder and wipes dirt, mud, moisture, and debris from the piston rod as it retracts into the cylinder, preventing contamination from entering the hydraulic system and protecting internal seals and wear rings from premature damage.
