This aftermarket replacement turbocharger cartridge -- also known as a CHRA (Center Housing Rotating Assembly) -- is the core rotating assembly of the turbocharger, housing the bearings and seals that are subject to wear in normal operation. It replaces Caterpillar OEM part number 1W1653 (also formatted as 1W-1653) and fits a wide range of Cat 3400- and 3500-series engines across construction, industrial, marine, and truck applications. The turbocharger cartridge works within the TV8113 turbocharger assembly to compress intake air and deliver greater air volume to the combustion chamber, increasing engine power and efficiency.
