One New Aftermarket Replacement Torque Converter Impeller for Caterpillar (Cat) Track-Type Tractors and Pipelayers
This torque converter impeller (Caterpillar part 1T1399) fits inside the torque converter assembly of large Caterpillar (Cat) track-type tractors and pipelayers. The impeller is the driven element within the torque converter that transfers engine power to the transmission drivetrain. The 1T1399 is a reinforced service replacement for the earlier 1T270 impeller and can be installed without modification in machines equipped with the 1T611 Torque Converter Assembly. Installation in machines with the older 1T11 Torque Converter Assembly requires removal of the snap ring from the 1T59 bearing -- consult the Caterpillar service manual before installation.

Caterpillar Pipelayers: 594 (serial prefix 62H), 594H (serial prefix 96V)
Installation Note
Supersedes OEM part number 1T270 (also listed as 1T0270). Compatible with machines using the 1T611 Torque Converter Assembly. Machines with the 1T11 Torque Converter Assembly require snap ring removal from the 1T59 bearing during installation -- see Caterpillar service manual for full procedure.
