This turbocharger cartridge -- also known as a CHRA (center housing rotating assembly) -- is the rotating core of the Garrett TV8105 turbocharger used on Caterpillar 3408 and 3408B diesel engines. The cartridge replaces the internal bearing housing assembly without requiring replacement of the full turbocharger unit. The Caterpillar 3408 and 3408B are V8 diesel engines widely used in marine propulsion, stationary power generation, mining trucks, and heavy construction equipment.
