This crankshaft position sensor -- also known as a Sensor GP-Speed -- monitors the position and rotational speed of the crankshaft and sends that data to the engine control module. It is used across a wide range of Caterpillar (Cat) equipment powered by C-Series and classic 3400-series engines, including construction machines, motor graders, articulated trucks, excavators, wheel loaders, and more. The sensor features a 2-pin connector and is a direct plug-in replacement for OEM part number 191-8303 / 1918303.
