This exhaust valve is a direct aftermarket replacement for the Caterpillar C-9 / C9 inline 6-cylinder diesel engine. The exhaust valve seats in the cylinder head and controls the release of combustion gases, and is a critical component during engine rebuilds and top-end overhauls.
