This aftermarket replacement Caterpillar (Cat) J400 Penetration Plus bucket tip is a Ground Engaging Tool (GET) designed for excavator and loader buckets. The J400 Penetration Plus tip features a narrower cross-sectional profile that self-sharpens during use, making it well-suited for densely compacted material, cemented gravel, sedimentary rock, poorly shot rock, and tough trenching conditions. It mounts using the standard side-pin design with a 7T3408 pin and an 8E8409 sleeved retainer (sold separately).
