One New Aftermarket Replacement Piston Skirt for Caterpillar (Cat) 3400 Series Engines
This aftermarket replacement piston skirt (Skirt-Piston) is the lower half of a two-piece articulated piston assembly used in Caterpillar 3406B, 3412, 3412C, and 3412E diesel engines. The skirt works in conjunction with a separate steel crown to form the complete piston, guiding the piston within the cylinder bore and maintaining alignment with the connecting rod. It is used across a wide range of Caterpillar engine applications including machine engines, industrial engines, generator sets, and excavators.
