This backup alarm (also cataloged as an Alarm Assembly) is an audible reverse-warning device that sounds automatically when a Caterpillar backhoe loader is placed in reverse, alerting ground personnel to the machine's rearward motion. It is a direct replacement for Caterpillar OEM part number 154-5428 (1545428) and is compatible with a wide range of Cat C-series and D/E/F-series backhoe loaders.
