This 0.50mm oversize crankshaft main bearing is used during engine reconditioning of Caterpillar 3114 and 3116 diesel engines. It seats in the cylinder block main bearing bores and supports the crankshaft journal, restoring proper oil clearance on worn or machined crankshafts. The 0.50mm oversize designation indicates the bearing is sized for crankshafts that have been ground 0.50mm undersize. This bearing does not have a lubrication groove.
