This aftermarket replacement rotocoil assembly (also known as a valve rotator) fits Caterpillar 3408E and 3412E diesel engines across a wide range of heavy construction, earthmoving, and petroleum equipment. The rotocoil mounts on the valve stem and rotates the engine valve slightly on each open-and-close cycle, preventing carbon buildup and promoting even valve wear to maintain compression and extend engine life. Rotocoils should be replaced at engine overhaul.
