This aftermarket exhaust valve (Caterpillar part number 1337029, also formatted as 133-7029) is a cylinder head component for Caterpillar 3176, 3196, C10, and C12 diesel engines. It seats in the cylinder head to seal the combustion chamber during the power stroke and opens to allow exhaust gases to exit during the exhaust stroke. Per OEM catalog data, this valve supersedes the earlier Caterpillar exhaust valve 7C1586.
